Description
Flor de Alejandría is a white wine that expresses the uniqueness of the Muscat of Alexandria grape. This variety is carefully selected from old, low-yield vines that are grown in the fertile soils on the high terraces of Godelleta, Valencia.
The grapes are picked by hand and transported to the winery in boxes of 20 kg, which minimizes the oxidation of the must and, therefore, maintains the aroma, color, and freshness of the grapes. After a process of light clarification, the fermentation takes place in two stages: first, in stainless steel tanks and then, in 500-liter French oak barrels. Siguiendo a la fermentación, el vino se deja en las barricas y se lleva a cabo una crianza en sus lías finas durante cuatro 4 meses, removiéndolas dos veces por semana por la técnica conocida como batonnage.
